This Privacy Policy explains how His Words ("the App") handles information. His Words is developed by Colin Clark ("we," "us," or "our").

Information We Collect

We do not require account creation, and we do not collect, store, or have access to any personal information you enter into the App. We do receive limited app-usage data through Meta's SDK, described under "Analytics and Advertising Measurement" below.

• Playback preferences and free trial usage (such as your chosen narrator voice, perspective, and remaining free listening time) are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us.
• Downloaded audio files, for subscribers, are saved locally in the App's storage on your device for offline playback.

Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. Your purchase history and subscription status are managed by your Apple ID and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Audio Streaming

Audio content is streamed from a third-party content delivery network. Standard technical information (such as IP address) may be processed by that provider as part of normal internet delivery, but we do not collect, log, or link this information to you.

Analytics and Advertising Measurement

The App uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure app installs, app opens, and subscription purchases, so we can understand how our advertising performs. Through this SDK, the following information is sent to Meta:

• App events, such as when the App is installed or opened and when a subscription is purchased or restored (including product and price)
• Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language, time zone, and app version
• An anonymous identifier generated by the SDK. We do not collect or send your device's advertising identifier (IDFA)

We do not send your name, email address, or any content you enter into the App. Meta processes this data under Meta's Privacy Policy. You can manage your ad preferences in your Facebook account.

Third-Party Services

Other than Apple (for subscriptions), our content delivery provider (for audio streaming), and Meta (for the measurement described above), His Words does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not sell your personal information.

Children's Privacy

His Words is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
